There's a big difference: the Address Book displays the names as FirstName LastName, but they are sorted in alphabetical order by LAST name, not first name. Click on the Name column and you'll see for yourself. Groups are another matter - they indeed are sorted by first name, which has to be one of the dumbest things in Entourage. (It's only OK if you list only email addresses without display names.) Get my script Group Sort X at AppleScript Central <http://www.applescriptcentral.com/> It will sort all your groups alphabetically by last name. Whenever you add any new group members , run the script again on just that group - it's instantaneous when done that way. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X. It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
