The problem with very long lists of recipients is that many ISPs will reject
messages with more than 50 recipients (some even less). You <must> break it
up into smaller segments of 50 or fewer, and you must have a primary
recipient specified in the "To" field (usually yourself).

It works for any size group, but it takes some setup work. First, you need
to get addresses exported into a tab-delimited text file with
"Display-name<tab>e-mail address<return>" for each contact. Select the
contacts you want to send to in your address book. Use the script "Export
Selected Contacts" to export them; it creates a file, "Address List", on
your desktop. Then you use that file, with a text file containing your
message, and drag those two files onto the "Bulk Mail MSE" applet. The name
of the message file becomes the subject of the message. To make the script
use BCC, preface the name with "BCC ", e.g., "BCC Announcing Free Pizza Via
FAX".
