Entourage X sending unintentional messages

I have a client who uses Entourage X under Jaguar. He has a problem that I have been unable to find any information on. I'm hoping that someone on this list can point me in the right direction.

When he sends an email Entourage attaches a second unrelated email to the first. In some cases this has caused the message to bounce back to him, in others he just gets a confused reply from the receiver asking why they got the message. Looking in the sent items shows the email as drafted.

It seems to happen only with emails that have an attachment.

I patched to the latest Office X and had him rebuild the database. The problem is still there.

Any ideas here folks? This is an extremely dangerous problem and he needs to get it fixed.
