I see it multiple times a day. Just happened again.
I was in a Custom View. I selected all messages in that custom view (happens to be my spam view) and hit "delete". Then I clicked on one of the subfolders of my Inbox to read the mail in that folder and instead I got the "On My Computer" view. I cannot reproduce it again right now.
