Title: Re: A Couple Of Questions
Hi, All --

I finally bit the bullet and moved up to OSX (10.2.3 to be precise) and Office X  w/Entourage 10.1.1 (well, actually I had no choice as I bought a new TiBook which came with OSX by default), and after working with it for a week or so, although I have found most of Entourage to be generally equal to or better than the last OS9 version, there are a couple of minor irritants that I have been unable to resolve, and any help/advice will be very much appreciated:

A. Whenever I type something that includes a period followed by a space, the next letter typed gets auto-capitalized  every time. I have gone through both the Entourage and Office/Word spelling, etc. preferences several times, turning anything that looks like it might be the culprit on and/or off, but to no avail — what’s the trick (in fact, it also just auto-capitalized the “A.” at the beginning of this paragraph when I typed and would have preferred a small “a.” -- how do I get rid of that as well)??

B.  I know that the browser window will always open in the same location as the last time I closed it, but how do I get a new message window to do the same ( i.e. It always opens at the upper left-hand side of the screen, and for me, that interferes with the dock which I prefer at the left side of the screen — if I could get new message windows to default-open closer to, or at screen-center, I would be a lot happier)??

C. Lastly, in the junk mail filter, if I check the “This is not junk”, and select “Do not classify any mail from this domain as junk”, and the domain then gets automatically added to the “Do not apply to messages from these domains” list (I have checked and that is happening correctly), why then does it still keep branding messages from the same domain (even from the exact same sender address, in some cases) as junk, over and over again?? I know I can create new contacts, which may solve this, but to have to create a contact for every single mail list or purchase order confirmation ( i.e. from store.apple.com or adobe.com, etc.) should not be necessary as long as the filter is working as advertised otherwise, but so far, that is not the case. Is there something I am missing here??

Thanks in advance for the help.

Cheers,
George Arellano
