There are some things that keep me on Entourage rather than switching to Mail or (back to) Eudora. With at least 400 messages a day coming into my inbox (primarily from all of the developer mailing lists I subscribe to), the ability to only show unread messages is not just nice, but essential. Not that I keep around *all* of those messages, but I keep around enough that scrolling past all of the unread mail just to get to what's new would be detrimental to my productivity. The "single window for e-mail" keeps my desktop from becoming overwhelming, even with one desktop of Virtual Desktop dedicated to e-mail. The integration of e-mail, notes, task list, and calendar. I could do all of these with the existing Mac OS X applications, but in conjunction with the above, Entourage is my mail program of choice (for the time being). -- Glenn L.
