After being out of town for several days, I wanted to download all of the newsgroup messages I had missed on two MS public newsgroups: Entourage and Word. The Entourage messages came through fine. I kept clicking "More" until there was no gap after Feb. 3 at noon (the last time I had downloaded).
The Word newsgroup, however, is giving me a problem. I opened it and got the 100 headers I expected (that's what I have set in Accounts>Options). Then I went to click "More" but hit "Mark All Read" by mistake. When it finished, I selected the messages which had been marked as read, went up to the Message menu and clicked "Mark As Unread." Then I clicked "More" and nothing downloaded, leaving a gap between Feb. 3 and Feb. 10. I tried a couple more times including closing and reopening the newsgroup but no more headers downloaded until a few minutes ago when I tried again. Only problem is that it downloaded headers from last May leaving the seven day gap in February. I just closed, reopened and tried again and got another 100 headers from May. Anyone know how I can recover the missing headers?
