A good friend is finally making the switch from aol to a real ISP. I've
gotten her set up with a static IP LAN at home; she and her husband connect
via a wireless LinkSys router that does NAT/dhcp to her iMac and her
husband's Dell.

For now, she's still using AOL for her email. I've told her I'd try to find
out if there are scripts that allow one to export the aol address book to a
format that can be imported to other Mac email clients. She's still in Mac
OS 9. I think her husband is Win 98 on his Dell.

Are there scripts or other means to synchronize between Outlook 2000 and the
contacts/calendar programs in Mac OS X?

Are there archiving programs that will store her old aol mail so that she
doesn't need to run the AOL client to read them?

Thanks so much,

Jim Robertson
