My wife travels with her TiBook, which hosts her Entourage. She's often in
areas where our current cellular, Sprint PCS, provider has digital coverage.
She wants to check emails and reply to them, but finds getting connected
from hotel rooms is dicey and pricey.
We currently have a local ISP but are open to alternatives, including
mac.com.
Sprint offers various "cards" that fit PCMIA slots, but all are described as
designed for Windows and MS Outlook, not Macintosh or its applications.
Sprint also has at least one "Palm" phone, Samsung SPH-I300. We don't need
a Palm and would prefer to see email on the Ti's screen and reply from its
keyboard, not stylus-driven or tiny keyboarded cellular phones, one letter
at a time.
What has this community found works best to give reasonably good, Mac-like
("simple, intuitive") wireless access to Entourage. Any experience with
either of the Sprint devices or others that we might consider?
