I think 35 folders for scripts is none too many! Indeed, not enough.
Subfolders are counted. I have primary folders for Calendar, Contacts, Edit
Text, Message Operations, New messages, and so on. Within Edit Text I have
subfolders for Insert, Delete, and TextClippings (a set of my own scripts
I'm developing), Cleanup, and TextSoap 3. If I had all the scripts in a
single menu it would scroll endlessly!! The main reason I group into folders
is to keep the menu fitting on a single screen, and not all of them do
despite my efforts. In all, counting folders and scripts, I have 471 items
in my Entourage Script Menu Items folder.

There is no way that could be used practically without grouping into
folders.
