(I’m using Entourage X and OS 10.2.4)
I want to take a category of my Entourage address book contacts and send them an individually addressed form letter in MS Word. In Word, I open Data Merge Manager and drag and drop the proper merge fields into my letter. Word gives me a choice to open Word Address Book. Since this is an MS Office bundle, is Word Address Book the same as Entourage? If I choose that option, it does not get me to Entourage. If I select “Open Data Source” and find my Entourage Database, that doesn’t open properly either. How do I do this? Thank you.
Office Address Book is what you want. In the Merge section, choose “Query Options” to select the category to merge.
