Using Entourage X with OS X 10.2.4. For some reason, my automatic spell
checking (as I type) no longer functions. Actually, it works for the Subject
field of an e-mail message, but not in the e-mail text body. I can type all
sorts of misspelled words, but the wavy red line never shows up. In the Word
component of Office X, spell checking works correctly.

I've rebuilt the database, basic and advanced, plus fiddled with the
spelling preferences, all to no avail.

Automatic spell checking used to work. The only change I've made is to add a
custom dictionary from a third-party vendor, but I don't recall if the
problem started at that time. However, spell checking does work in the
Subject field as well as other Office applications.

I appreciate your advice.
