I know this is not a Excel list, but I was wondering if someone can either
direct me to where I can get some help or possibly resolve my problem.

I'm copying some data from a statistics page and pasting it into an excel
sheet. I reorganize the data, from a single column into two columns and
remove the unneeded data.

The problem occurs when I try to sort the data alphabetically. Two of the
entries consistently jump to the top of the list and out of order.

I have looked for characters that are not visible and found none.

They do coincidentally happen to be the top two entries when sorted
numerically. It does not matter if it is ascending or descending.
