My wife wants to move from the Palm Desktop to Entourage vX. I've installed
all available Office X updates, and the latest Entourage conduit. (All were
downloaded from the Microsoft web site today.)

I've been able to successfully synchronize the notes and task list, but the
calendar always fails. The failure message is "The application Conduit
Manager has unexpectedly quit."

I first thought that the problem might have been the long calendar history
-- she kept several years. The Palm calendar has been trimmed to 14 months,
and the failure continues to occur.

In searching for a solution, the only reference I've been able to find about
this error seems to relate to Mac OS 9 or earlier. The recommendation is to
provide the Conduit Manager with more memory. That's doesn't seem to be
possible in OS X.

Any suggestions on repairing this situation?

    Computer : iMac, 768MB
    Active Apps: Entourage, HotSync Manager
    OS : OS X 10.2.5
    Entourage : vX
    Palm : M505

Thanks in advance for any sugeestions.
