In case someone is interested Abracode released EntourageTemplate 1.2 yesterday. The software provides a system for creating e-mail messages from templates (or stationaries). It consists of a contextual menu plug-in for Entourage and standalone template editor. You may create new messages from scratch using predefined message content or reply to an existing message using a template. You may populate "To:", "CC:", "BCC:", subject and message body. In addition, the system implements "special objects" which are resolved at runtime by querying the original message. For example you may want to respond to e-mails by starting your message with "Hello ^^FIRST_NAME^^" - in this case the first name will be obtained from the original message (if possible) and your new message will be start with "Hello Tom" (if the e-mail you originally received is from Tom of course...).
EntourageTemplate 1.2 is the FIRST version of this software for Entourage. It begins from 1.2 because it shares the code and feature set with sister package: MailTemplate which works with Apple's Mail.app and started a couple of weeks earlier.

MailTemplate and EntourageTemplate use the same registration number. If for some reason you decide to switch from one e-mail client to another you may take your templates with you and there is no fee for switching the template software.
