An Entourage user could create or open one. <snip> > I am interested in hearing what others think of this solution. Sounds a lot like Lotus Notes. A bunch of flat file databases, at least one of which is your mail, with a variety of different views available such as folders, threads or as a web page. Then you need servers and administration and security and support. Any solution such as you're proposing is going to essentially be a database application. I would be surprised if the MBU saw it as core business. It seems to me to be more likely to come from Apple, given that the file system as database is in favour again (and here I would insert a reference to a couple of articles on the Reg <http://www.theregister.co.uk> but I can't find them) but then we would have to use Mail ;) -- Dave -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
