Greetings all, I believe I may have discovered an interesting bug somewhere in Entourage and/or the latest Palm sync conduit.
The setup: I'm using The l&g Entourage (the 10.1.4 ExchangeUpdate) and it's associated sync conduit in conjunction with DateBk5 (from Pimlico) on my Zire71. And before you blame this on DateBk5, the same issue is apparent in the built-in DateBook app on the Zire71. I make it a habit to create events with a arbitrary format consisting of the first initials of my family members followed by a space followed by a ">" followed by a space followed by the title of the event. For example: N > Fix Dan's Mac at Tetra NF > Meet with mortgage ofcr NFRC > Potluck dinner at church Etc, etc. This helps me keep track of who is supposed to be where when. All of a sudden <wry grin>, the ">" symbol is missing from the display on my Zire71. That is to say, historical events in the calendar in Entourage which display the '_>_' sequence now only show '___' on the Zire71. Setting the sync conduit to "Entourage overwrites handheld" does not fix the problem. Wait, it gets weirder. If I create an event on the Zire71 in this format and truly 'sync', the event shows up in Entourage as expected. If, however, I create an event in Entourage in this format and 'sync', the ">" does not appear. Help?
