Allen, what he means is that the Mac OS -- for years, and including OS X --
provides a standard way for applications to add their own options to Print
dialogs. If you click on the options pop-up menu, many applications add
their own menu item; selecting this menu item brings up application-specific
options.

For example, Microsoft's own Word has such a print options screen that is
integrated into standard Print dialogs. It provides options for what to
print within a document, and whether to print all pages or just odd or even
pages.

The extra print window for Entourage provides options for what to print, and
headers and footers; these should clearly be provided within the standard
Mac OS print dialog, rather than being presented in a separate print dialog.
