For the Microsoft support group, I hope you are aware that some Sony Clie's do not
sync addresses correctly with Ent X. I have written to the list about this before and
still hope there will be a fix at some point. Although I updated to the latest
versions of Office (10.1.5 update) and of the Sync software Ent X still does not
synch addresses correctly with several Sony models.

I discovered this problem about a year ago when I purchased a Clie 615...in the end my
solution was to purchase QueueSynch, which worked perfectly with that model.
Unfortunately (with regard to Ent X that is), I recently upgraded to a TG50 and
QueueSynch is not working with that model. (Tho I am helping Masaru the author to
debug a fix). If Masaru was able to make this work for the 615, why isn't Microsoft?
He is willing to work with a Sony user to fix the problem...is Microsoft?

Even if I clear out the address book in the Sony and do a Mac overwrites Palm synch,
the addresses (1200+) do not appear in alpha order! They appear in a somewhat
alphabetic order but clearly not correct (hundred+ are out of order). I can 'reorder'
them by editing the first character of the last name (or business) but that is not a
workable solution every time I hot synch. Doing a synchronize, which I would like to
do and can do with the Palm Desktop, does not work as well.

Given that it's been more than a year since the synch software was released (and more
than a year after Ent X appeared), it would be very nice if Sony users had a workable
solution.

I am more than ready to work with Microsoft programmers to debug possible fixed
versions of the Hot Synch software if someone is working on this and wants a willing
Sony User to help test and report back.

I'm pretty frustrated and disappointed about this. Are there any Sony users on the
list who have or don't have this situation synching addresses?
