I'm guessing you are referring to Outlook Newsreader (a.k.a. Outlook Express) for Windows, since Microsoft Outlook doesn't have a newsreader built-in like Microsoft Entourage does.
With regard to your inquiry, the inability to access posts by clicking message ID links is an unfortunate limitation of Entourage. I have sent this feature request to Microsoft, and I recommend you do the same. In Entourage X, go to Help -> Send Feedback on Entourage. Otherwise, click on this direct link to enter Mac Product Feedback: <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/feedback/suggestion.asp> If this feature is very important to you, I suggest you find an alternate newsreader. Many, like MT-NewsWatcher (free) have this feature. Information about and links to many Mac clients can be found at this URL: <http://www.newsreaders.com/mac/clients.html> On 10/12/03 6:25 PM, "Eddie Hargreaves" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I access the Associated Press newsgroups at work using Outlook on Windows. > I'm trying to access them via Entourage, which seems to work fine, but > clicking on a link in a message that normally brings me a new message with a > photo and caption in Outlook simply gives me an error message in Entourage. > Specifically, error 130. > > Is this unresolvable? > > Eddie Hargreaves -- Mickey Stevens (Microsoft MVP for Office:mac) PowerPoint FAQ featuring PowerPoint:mac: <http://www.pptfaq.com/> Entourage Help Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/toc.html> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
