Evidently because you don't believe in keeping up to date. ;-) Your message source shows that you are still using the original 10.0.0 version of Entourage straight out of the box. This behavior was fixed way back in May 2002 with v10.1.0 (SR-1). Go to the MacTopia website <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/> and download the Office 10.1.2 Updater, Office 10.1.4 Updater and 10.1.5 Updater. Install them all, in that order. You will find that and 100 other things fixed, plus a much more robust rebuilder, which you may need some day.
