The first page of the attached PDF is there as a kind of preview. Would you
really want, for instance, an entire 200-page manual to appear in their
e-mail message? It would take ages to render. Simply include instructions in
your message to folks, telling them to double-click the attached file, or
save it to disk and open it in their PDF reader (Preview in Panther, or
Adobe Reader).
