I hope Allen doesn't mind, but I wanted to publicly thank him for coming to
my rescue with a script that, after a little debugging, works perfectly for
my needs as outlined below.

I know he said it isn't ready for prime time, but it fits the bill nicely
for me and I am grateful to him for his efforts and assistance.

Since I don't know if he plans to release the script publicly yes (if at
all), please don't harass him for it :) My guess is that although the script
is now invaluable to me and the type of work I often do, the "average user"
won't have much need for it.
