Does everything that Microsoft touches turn to crap? I just set up a Hotmail
account for the first time. I went through their registration process and
picked a user name and (a six character password) as specified as their
minimum password requirement. Then I enter my new account information into
Entourage and try to send and receive mail. Much to my surprised I am
presented with an Entourage message informing me that Hotmail now requires
an eight character password and it prompts me to update my account. So then
I send another five minutes trying to login so I can change my password.
After navigating through all of their newsletter promotional crap I finally
get to the screen where I can change my password. Which of course once again
prompts me to enter at least a six character password (unfreaking
believable). So I enter my new 8 character password into Entourage only to
get another error (-1500) informing me that Entourage is unable to access my
hotmail list. WTF? Is the world's largest software company run by a bunch of
morons? Did I miss a critical step somewhere?

Is anyone out there able to access the hotmail account via Entourage? If
yes, how on earth are you doing it?
