I'm assuming you are deleting messages that are older than a certain date. I would create a custom view using this criteria. Select all the messages and move them to your Deleted Items folder. Use the Move icon and don't try to drag to folder. Now select messages in Deleted items and click Delete*** ***You might consider creating a schedule to delete a select few each night. I've deleted several thousand messages before not not 350,000 so am not sure what will happen with that many.
