Recover a folder?

Title: Recover a folder?

I finally got me work Office X Identities successfully copied to my home system.

However, I did not realize that do so would erase subfolders I had set up on my home system. Silly me.

I had one folder with some saved personal mail, such as an Amazon gift cert for the kids. Is there any way to recover this folder? I'm guessing not, but wanted to ask before trying to figure out how to get a reissue of the gift cert. If I would have simply left it in my personal mailbox, it would not have been overwritten since I access that box via IMAP from work.
