Another workaround that I find faster if the target quote level is just one ">": Highlight the many-quoted text. Use Remove Quoting. Cut the text to the clipboard. Use Cmd-Shift-V (Edit->Paste Special->Paste As Quotation) to paste it back with one level of quoting. Another alternative under Panther is assigning a shortcut to "Increase Quote Level" using System Preferences, Keyboard & Mouse, Keyboard Shortcuts. -- Microsoft MVP for Entourage/OE/Word (MVPs are volunteers) Allen Watson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Entourage FAQ site: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> AppleScripts for Outlook Express and Entourage: <http://members.thinkaccess.net/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/Scripts/> Entourage Help Pages: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
