Good point. Let me tangentially add that occasionally I miss seeing a message at first because the sender's system calendar is off -- by which I mean _really_ off, like 1904. When the mailbox has messages sorted by date and time sent, such a message is liable to be outside the visible area. Usually I realize it's there because the mailbox name is still boldfaced even after I've read all the visible new messages.
