When I begin to enter a recipient address in a compose window, Entourage displays a list of recent addresses with the same initial characters as what I am entering [a great feature, by the way]. In that list, one address is pre-selected as the default.
How is that default determined... and how can I reset it? Specifically, the problem is this: I have a group whose name is "sl". Years ago, I had a correspondence with a person whose name begins with "sl". Both appear in the dropdown when I enter "sl"; until recently, the preselected default was the group. Recently, I had occasion to write to the person whose name begins with "sl". Now the default is the person, even though I have since written several times to the group. This change is driving me batty because I had developed the habit of writing to the group by typing "sl" and hitting return, which accepts the default. That no longer works. This is a small matter, and I can think of numerous workarounds, but what I really want is a return to the elegant and efficient functionality that was mysteriously taken from me -- or at least, an end to the mystery. -- Joshua -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
