Scott – though this isn’t a direct answer to your question, it may be a reasonable long term solution. There is a really nice freeware mailing list web app that will allow you to send HTML mail, allow users to subscribe and unsubscribe to your list as well as report who does what to you. The kid that created it is a Mac user, developer, artist guy. I’ve used the app as well as set it up for clients that desire to manages lists or simply send HTML mail without using Windows or the hassle of dealing with email client issues.
Since neither Safari nor IE Mac have the Windows IE “Send Page by email” menu function that will pop your HTML page into E-rage for sending, Dada Mail is a solid alternative.
