Unfortunately, that's the way it works. You can't send mail with bad addresses. If you open the message that did not go through, and scroll through the addresses, Entourage flags the bad address with a yellow "warning" sign. Also, if you look in the Error Log (see the Window menu), I believe you'll find an error message identifying the bad address.
