Any ideas about how to react to following unfriendly behavior from Entourage
(10.1.4) would be appreciated.

(1) For no apparent reason, the program started erasing/deleting material at
a rapid pace. The finder went backwards through an entire e-mail I was
composing and then started to delete mail from my incoming mailbox. This
has happened before using a previous version of Entourage. It was rectified
by the usual; had to crash by pressing restart because it would not switch
to force quit. Since my reactions are always those of the typical dummie,
I had to retrieve quite a few messages from the deleted file (which is a
great feature of Entourage).

Is there a better reaction when this happens and any ideas as to what causes
it in case it is preventable?

(2) Again for no apparent reason, sometimes mail I highlight to open
seemingly in the routine way instead disappears into the aforementioned
deleted file (ditto its a great feature)..am thinking I am inadvertently
doing something wrong and would like to know what. I am sure my no
apparent reasons translate into ineptness on my part.

TIA for all assistance.
