I couldn't find this error at
Mail couldn't be Sent
An unknown error (4363) occurred
at http://www.entourage.mvps.org/errors.html
I often get this error when trying to send photos from within iPhoto. I.e.
in iPhoto I select a few photos, click on Email Button, and it creates a New
Entourage Message with those photos attached. Then, when I try to change the
Subject Line, or when clicking on Send I get
An unknown error (4363) occurred
Then I go back to iPhoto, and while the photos are still selected, I click
on Email Button. That creates another New Message in Entourage with the same
photos attached, I type inside the Body of the Message, pick my own
Signature, and it goes out OK. I.e. the �initial attempt to send from iPhoto
often fails�! The Entourage is always running when I email photos from
iPhotos, or Drag and Drop on Email Icon on the Dock. I've tried it without
Saving prior to clicking Send, and still got that error
I've tried the following --
� unchecking the "Include Title and Comments" boxes in the iPhoto dialog
box before clicking on Compose button. BTW, those Titles and Comments are
DUMB!!! They disable my Default Email Signature, which I have to re-select
manually...
� not editing the Entourage Message before sending it, i.e. sending it "as
is"
� switching Entourage Identity or User on my PB17
� Rebuild Entourage Database (simple and complex)
Also, this unknown error (4363) �often� happens when I try to send PDF's and
JPEG's, attaching them via Drag and Drop or Dialog Box, i.e. this unknown
error (4363) is not limited to iPhoto & Entourage "duet"
I've learned to live with this, and didn't report it to this list, but, when
I saw this 3/27/04 post, Re: Saving w/Attachments Before Sending Produces
Error, and it reminded me about my issue...
I haven't tried to see if the iPhoto & Mail "duet" produces a "better
harmony":), since I never use Mail...
Maybe the iPhoto folks didn't really have Entourage in mind, as opposed to
Mail, for emailing photos?
Maybe this issue will go away when I upgrade to iLife 04, which has a better
iPhoto component?
Any suggestions? TIA
