Here's Pimlico Software's statement on the subject (from the > DateBk5 FAQ): > Actually, that is NOT what DateBk5 is saying. DateBk5 supports categories in the Calendar by adding information to the note field of calendar events. This information appears as "gibberish" to me when I open Calendar events in E '04 (or in any other version). Because Palm does not natively support categories in Palm OS through 4.x, this kludge was derived by Pimlico to allow the use of categories with its program. Another program, Agendus, apparently has a similar scheme. I'm not certain about how this issue is handled in Palm OS 5 or 6. And it may be that certain other features built in to the Palm OS 4 database that are not utilized by the native Palm applications are handled by DateBk5. -- Bruce ____________________________________________________ B R U C E K. klutch-at-erols.com -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
