In Microsoft Exchange Public Folders, a "freedoc" is a free-standing
document file that isn't part of a message or note. For example, I can put
the file "MyFile.doc" in a Public Folder by dragging it from the Finder into
the folder in Outlook 2001 for Mac; Outlook for PC has the same feature.

I can also add a freedoc using a WebDAV client like Goliath or the OS X
Finder.

In Entourage X, in the list shown for a Public Folder, freedocs in a Public
Folder look just like messages with an attachment, except that they don't
have a sender and the subject is set to <no subject>.

In Entourage 2004, I can't see the freedocs at all.

The server is Exchange 2003 with OWA active. I've already made the registry
change that makes freedocs accessible to OWA and verified that OWA does
indeed show me the freedocs (I used multiple web browsers to verify).

Specifically, I have a Public Folder with 5 messages and 6 freedocs. OWA in
any browser on any platform shows me 11 items, Entourage X shows me 11
items, Entourage 2004 shows me the 5 messages only.

Any ideas? I'm running the Test Drive on an iMac DV, Mac OS X 10.2.8. I'm
about to try it out on my Cube, also with 10.2.8, but haven't done it yet.
I am the Exchange administrator so I can make any changes that need to be
made on either the server or client sides.
