I wouldn't worry about it. Just make note of all your account settings,
delete the accounts completely, and make new ones. In the case of IMAP,
you'll probably have to re-subscribe to non-standard folders too.

Also do a Repair Disk Permissions in /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility
after logging out and in.
