Those are different activities. Word is a text editor, in PowerPoint you are editing a text field, and an email is a text document. A spreadsheet cell is a fundamentally different object than a text field. Within all text fields in Office, all keyboard shortcuts should be duplicated. There is no defensible reason for Cmd-Delete to destroy -- utterly and completely, with no hope of recover -- the email message being typed. Particularly when the command combo is harmless in all other text-editing functions in the Office suite. Kirk ----- Keep America Secure.
