I recently posted the question earlier about "freedocs", free-standing files in Exchange Public Folders (in other words, files that are stored there but not as attachments--generally, stored by people dragging them in via Outlook). I don't remember who answered but I really appreciate it.
Our clients have several Public Folders that contain a mixture of freedocs and mail messages. It looks like the solution is a two parter: (A) Use Entourage 2004 in Exchange server mode to subscribe to the Public Folder to see mail messages in the Public Folder (B) Use the Finder or Goliath to access the Public Folder via WebDAV for freedocs This works okay, and it's very nice that Entourage 2004 makes it easier to read mail messages in the Public Folders. I sure hope they add freedoc support (and other data type support) in E'rage 2007 :-) Thanks all.
