This may, in fact, be the problem; there could be a rule in Mailing List Manager that is running against the list messages, not moving them, but preventing subsequent rules from being applied. The solution would be to set up a proper MLM rule for this list, and to get rid of the generic rule. Beware when setting up MLM rules. Some lists do not address the mail to the list address, but to individual members; MLM will put your address into the "List address" field, which would result in all your mail being classed as list mail. Replace that with the actual list address (the one in the Reply-to header, most likely, or the address you normally send to).
