Not only that, but just two days ago the former developer said here that this was in fact the case - that Entourage 2004 now enables server-side searching if the IMAP server can do it - but did not reply (yet) when I asked why IMAP rules in that case still did not have Message Body or Attachment criteria like POP rules did. I had assumed from this that the server-side searching was therefore restricted to searching for headers, not message body or attachments info (messages might need to be decoded to find attachment names), and asked for a confirmation. Now you've discovered that real message body searching is possible. Did you search via a Find or Advanced Find? That's great. It really raises the question then as to why IMAP rules still don't include Message Body or Attachment. I guess it depends on whether the IMAP server has search capabilities or not, but surely there would be some way to indicate a problem if you tried to apply such a rule to a non-compliant IMAP account server. Anyway, it looks like this would have to be a feature request. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/index.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - **2004**, X or 2001.
