Folks: Entourage 2004, DSL hookup, MacOS 10.3.4
Ive been seeing an increasing number of errors when I try to send email. Several times today: The server for account "SBC/Yahoo" returned the error "Resource Temporarily unavailable [user]." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password? Now, I _know_ my settings are right, 'cause they succeeded at many other times today and in the past weeks and months. So, I conclude that Entourage is probably getting some kind of generic "Can't do that now" message from the SMTP server. I don't think this is an Entourage problem, though I think that its error reporting might be refined a bit. My questions: 1) Does my interpretation of the evidence seem reasonable? 2) Has anyone seen this kind of thing occurring with this or another major-label ISP? 3) Is there any way to get Entourage to divulge more details about what error code it actually received?
