So in that case, I'd have to enter a date in the > comments field. Reading will not modify it, but commenting will. And one other consideration: whenever a reminder appears and is then is dismissed or snoozed, the task or event is modified in the database. In the case of a recurring task, fortunately, once you mark it as completed, a separate non-recurring instance for that date is "sloughed off" and the recurring event event assumes the next scheduled date - it is not marked as completed. So a task that is "still" recurring is never completed, only the individual completed instances are. And those will never get another reminder. So it's only the commenting of completed tasks that you'd need to worry yourself about. You could probably get away with only adding a date for those few completed tasks which you do posthumously comment, and just take the last modification date as completed date if there's no date in the notes. If you label any such date with a "Completed: " label, you'll only need to search for a line beginning that way. -- Paul Berkowitz -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
