Folks:

Office 2004, MacOS 10.3.4.

I'm a font minimalist -- just need the plain and simple fonts, plus those
that are mandatory.

Finally, after diving into all the right places --manually removing font
filesplus using Font Book, I'm down to about 25 fonts, the ones I
routinely use. Now I don't have to scroll through a huge long list to find
"Times"!

But there are still five I can't seem to lose: Courier CE, Geneva CE,
Helvetica CE, Monaco CE, Times CE, and Lucida Grande CY.

It seems these are Central European (CE) and Cyrillic variants embedded
in the standard and more or less mandatory fonts named Courier, Geneva,
Helvetica , "Monaco", "Times", and "Lucida Grande", all distributed with
MacOS X (I think!).

Entourage, like the other Office applications, lists these variants. Other
applications (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, TextEdit, FontBook) do _not_ show
these CE and CY variants.

I'll _never_ need these. How do I stop Entourage and other Office apps
from listing them?

Thanks,

Henry
