I don't get any notifications when Entourage downloads junk e-mail. To make this clear. When I manually click on the Send & Receive button and there is only junk e-mail on the server, Entourage downloads the e-mail, sets its category to Junk and moves it to the Junk E-mail folder. I do not get any beeps not does my dock icon change. I will get a beep if Entourage downloads a message that is not classified as junk. Due to my Scheduled Send & Receives being done every two hours, and me being a subscriber to this and other active lists, I have not been able to verify this behavior during unattended Scheduled Send & Receives. However I think I remember times where Entourage did download just Junk e-mail and not beeping. I have no memory of the status of the dock icon. During attended Scheduled Send & Receives I get no notifications at all when only junk e-mail is received. I do get beeps and the windoid for non-junk e-mail. I do not like the bouncing icon and have that turned off in the preferences.
