Glenda, I had a small group (6-10) and had a similar compulsion. What I did is use rules (incoming and outgone) to check the from and to addressees and set a category of Mary, George, etc. One rule for each name I was tracking. A message can have multiple categories. Then when I wanted to see everything sent or received from George, I would go to a custom view that was set up to display all messages with category = George.
Thus I was free to file the messages by topic or month and yet still be able to pull up all for a specific individual. This also saved having to copy the messages multiple times in the database. My two cents worth, Jim > From: Glenda Carl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Tue, 24 Aug 2004 09:00:28 -0500 > To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Copy to multiple folders? > > Let's say I'm compulsive, but I've started filing messages (and replies) in > multiple folders to ease the strain on my memory.
