Its probably the “protection” in Entourage from unwanted things in the Email and attachments. Its similar to Outlook XP, in that it blocks pictures in an Email unless you click the “download pictures” link on the bottom right side of the message header.

I recently upgraded a laptop to office 2004 from office X. Now whenever an
e-mail is opened in Entourage with graphics such as the Apple e-mail news
letter the graphics never load. There are just red x's where the graphics
should be. I never had this problem in Office X. Does anyone have any
suggestions as to what I should check for this problem.
The laptop is a G4 powerbook running 10.3.5 with 512mb of ram. Thanks in
