Setup:
Entourage 2004, SP1 installed (problem existed before update)
Multiple accounts
OS X 10.3.5, latest updates

I attempted to create an account to AT&T, which uses SSL connections.
There are instructions involving using a utility SSL Enabler.
I was able to create connection to receive, but cannot send.
Using same account info, I can connect from Entourage (same configuration)
on a different computer.
TCPflow reports NO data traffic when attempting to send.
I get an error dialog box stating:

-----------------
Error -17897 (Entourage 2004)

Receive error trying to send mail, or receive mail
Entourage doesn't support the requested authentication method.
-----------------

This leads me to believe the problem is when Entourage sends the outbound
message to some other daemon or process in the OS, this other process fails
before sending out the e-mail message (thus no TCP data packets).

Anyone have an idea how to track down which process or daemon is failing?
