Check Tools> Accounts> {your account}> Options. There’s an option that says “Partially receive messages over {some number} KB.” I believe the number is 20 KB by default in Entourage 2004. Change that number to something high enough to accommodate the images you want to receive. Just be aware that this will also allow large unwanted (SPAM) attachments to download.

P.S. Also, you could check the Security preference to “Automatically download pictures from my Address Book contacts.” I’m not sure which of these settings overrides the other.

I know what’s spam and what isn’t so there is not a good reason to default to making me explicitly tell E’rage to d/l the images each and every time.
