Is HotMail access suddenly a subscription-only feature of Entourage?
I've been reading my HoTMaiL though Entourage X for a year. Before that I
read it through Outlook Express. Five years of only having to hit the
HotMail web site once a month to keep the accounts marked as active. Plus or
minus some hiccups, no problems. Thanks to the group, all of the various
hiccups resolved.
Tonight, I select Tools -> Send & Receive -> myHotMail account, and I get an
alert box:
Error
Premium subscription required to access Hotmail.
Explanation
To send and receive MSN Hotmail messages in Entourage, you must
have a premium subscription to MSN Hotmail. For more information
or to subscribe, click Learn More.
Note: To use your MSN Hotmail account after you sign up for a
premium subscription, you must restart Entourage.
Error 1402
No notice (that I can remember) that HotMail access was going to become a
subscription feature of Entourage. No warning.
Suggestions for repair are appreciated, and/or pointers to where in the
HotMail site this policy change was documented.
