You don't run at the same time. Quit the daemon and switch applications. I like using the script to quit.

I have never run the Test Drive and I thought it just left on server until you deleted. It sounds like it's picking up the preferences in Entourage X.  Test Drive will not allow you to change it so you don't accidentally delete your messages then cry that the test drive has all your messages and now you want to go back to X.  

Frankly, I wouldn’t think of going back to Entourage X...just too many improvements in 2004.
